Granville Township is pleased to announce that the draft Data Center Ordinance has been submitted for the required review process in accordance with the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code (MPC).

The proposed ordinance was developed to establish clear standards and regulations governing the potential development and operation of data center facilities within the Township. The ordinance is intended to balance economic development opportunities with the protection of community character, public infrastructure, environmental resources, and the health, safety, and welfare of Township residents.

As required by law, the draft ordinance has been forwarded to the Mifflin County Planning Commission and the Granville Township Planning Commission for review and comment. Following the completion of the review period, the Board of Supervisors will consider the ordinance at a future public meeting.

The draft ordinance is available for public inspection at the Township Municipal Building during normal business hours and may also be accessed through the Township website.

Granville Township encourages residents, property owners, and interested stakeholders to review the proposed ordinance and participate in the public process. Information regarding upcoming meetings and opportunities for public comment will be posted on the Township website as it becomes available.
